Growing up in the family that founded Ventura Barnett Properties certainly resulted in a few conversations about the housing market at the kitchen table, and some hands-on experience at a very early age. After years of serving as a Silicon Valley Sr. Account Executive in the Global Payment Solutions industry, Joe landed exactly where his roots began: home.
After growing up in the South Bay with a steadfast determination and competitive spirit (rooted in sports ~ go Giants & Niners!), Joe graduated from Santa Teresa High School. After earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing from San Jose State University in 2006, Joe established himself as a true relationship manager and highly-skilled negotiator, energetically meeting the complex needs of Mid-Market and Enterprise level companies.
Joe consistently continued the family passion for Real Estate through buying and selling homes of his own. Meanwhile, his thriving Software Sales career advanced his expertise in up-front needs assessment, comprehensive product strategy, market timing and complex negotiations. With a desire to make a greater impact on an individual’s personal needs, rather than adriving corporate objectives, he enthusiastically joined the ranks and passions of his father (Frank), uncle (Tony) and cousin (Nicole) at Ventura Barnett Properties, now part of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate. Those Real Estate discussions around the table at an early age have now evolved into dinner chatter in his own home, with his young daughter gaining a very early education in the housing market since her birth in 2017.
